The Kasoa Divisional Police has arrested fourteen (14) residents in Kasoa defying the two-weeks lock-down order imposed by the President to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus. The Ghana Police Service and the security forces have cautioned civilians to adhere to the lock-down protocol if they do not have any important issue to attend to.
The Ghana Police Service also announced yesterday,3 April 2020 that anyone caught violating the lockdown rule will be imprisoned or made to pay a fine of GHC 12,000 or both. Fourteen (14) people have been arrested in Kasoa and are being prepared for court to face judgment for flouting the orders of the President.
