American Rapper, DMX, In Critical Condition After Drug Overdose Triggers Serious Heart Attack

Earl Simmons, known by his stage name DMX, is an American rapper and songwriter. He began rapping in the early 1990s and released his debut album It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot in 1998, to both critical acclaim and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies within its first week of release.

Report gathered by our outfit indicates that DMX is currently in a critical condition after suffering a drug overdose. According to reports, DMX was rushed to a hospital in New York on Friday, April 2, with some sources claiming the drug overdose triggered a heart attack.

TMZ also disclosed that DMX has been taken to the critical care unit of a White Plains hospital where he is showing ”some brain activity”. Other sources which contacted TMZ disclosed that the rapper is in a ”vegetative state” and doctors boldly saying he might not make it.
