Information reaching us at Pinaxonline.com indicates that residents and Police personnel are living in fear for their lives at Kasseh and its environs in the Ada East District where daring and well-armed armed robbers are giving them sleepless nights.
The residents are calling on the Inspector General of Police, National Security Coordinator, Greater Accra Regional Security coordinator, Hon Member of Parliament for Ada, the Tema Divisional Commander of Police, to come to their aid.
Eyewitnesses say the same group of robbers who three weeks ago murdered a whole family and wounded others managed to escape without any action from the Police. Residents say police have said they also fear for their lives because the robbers hold better weapons.
The robbers returned on an operation to the same community where they robbed house to house (4 homes in all) took away huge sums of money, raped women and shot some of their victims.
Seth Listowell and Nartey Dornu who authored a statement to draw attention to their plight pleaded with President Akufo-Addo to take action for them.
Before you sign out, i leave you with this quote;
“What is a fear of living? It’s being preeminently afraid of dying. It is not doing what you came here to do, out of timidity and spinelessness. The antidote is to take full responsibility for yourself – for the time you take up and the space you occupy. If you don’t know what you’re here to do, then just do some good.”
