Bayern Munich Confirms Jerome Boateng’s Departure From The Club After 10 Years

Report gathered by our outfit indicates that Bayern Munich defender, Jerome Boateng, will exit the club in summer after playing for the club for a decade. Jerome Boateng’s contract will end expire at the end of the season and guess what, he will not be given a new one, which goes a long way to say he can sign for another club on a free transfer.

Hasan Salihamidzic, the sporting director of the club had this to say; ”Jerome’s contract expires in the summer. It will not be extended”. That was a joint decision of the club management and the coach was also involved. I explained that to Jerome and he was very understanding. He leaves through a big door hopefully with titles.

Jerome Boateng signed for Bayern in 2011 from Manchester City and has so far won 8 Bundesliga titles whiles claiming the DFB-Pokal on 5 occasions. He has also won 2 Champions League titles with Bayern and 2 Club World Cup titles.
