Bunny Wailer, The Reggae Legend Who Found Fame With Bob Marley Dies at Age 73

Neville O’Riley Livingston OM, known professionally as Bunny Wailer, was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and percussionist. He was an original member of reggae group The Wailers along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. A three-time Grammy Award winner, he is considered one of the longtime standard-bearers of reggae music.

Report gathered by our outfit indicates that Bunny Wailer one of the important voices in the Reggae fraternity has reportedly died. His demise was confirmed by his manager Maxine Stowe, and Jamaica’s Culture Minister, Olivia Grange.

According to reports, the cause of his demise is not yet known, but he had been in and out of the hospital since July 2020 after suffering from stroke.

Fans and fellow musicians of the legendary musician have started pouring in the tributes, with some describing him as a ” True Legend”.

Andrew Holness, Jamaica’s prime minister paid a tribute saying ”a great loss for Jamaica and for reggae”.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea wrote; ”Oh man, god Bless Bunny Wailer”, ”What a true rocker and noble man. I love him”
