Chadwick Boseman’s Brothers Open Up On The Last Days Of The Black Panther Star.

A month after the death of the Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman his brothers have come out to talk about the last days of their brother before his untimely death.

The Boseman brothers, Kevin and Derrick disclosed in an interview with the New York Times how Chad, as they fondly called him revealed that he was tired of his four-year battle with colon cancer.

Speaking on the last conversation they had, 54-year-old Pastor, Derrick stated that Chadwick told him a day before his death that he was ready to end the battle.

According to him Chadwick said; ” Man, I’m in the fourth quarter, and I need you to get me out of the game.”

He added that after Chadwick explained to him what he meant that he wanted the fight to be over, he changed his (Derrick) prayer.

“When he told me that, I changed my prayer from, ‘God heal him, God save him,’ to ‘God, let your will be done,

“And the next day he passed away.”

Kevin Boseman, actor and director stated that he was still trying to get used to the fact that they are now sharing the grief with the world. He said that Chadwick was called Chad by his family and friends, but now everywhere Chadwick Boseman is heard. He added that he has been trying to remember his brother as Chad and not Chadwick.

“I have been trying to remember Chad and not Chadwick,’ Kevin Boseman said. ‘And there’s just been a lot of Chadwick in the air.”

“You have to start sharing that person with the world; I always endeavored to just treat him like my brother.”

Derrick also stated that Chad was gifted in the area of arts and that when he was young, he could ‘sit and draw anyone’

“Chad was gifted, he’s probably the most gifted person I’ve ever met.”

Kevin added;

‘A lot of people think making it means becoming an A-list movie star,

 ‘I didn’t force that. I just knew that if Chad wanted to work in the arts, he would find a way and take care of himself.’

The brothers also disclosed that Chad had wanted to become a writer and a director before he ventured into acting while at Howard University.
