On the 25th March 2020, Ghanaians set the day aside to fast and pray so God can intervene in the fight against coronavirus in the country. This comes after the president Nana Akufo-Addo declared the day as National fasting and prayer day.
In wake of this actress Efia Odo has spoken on people repenting of their evil ways during this coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.
In a tweet, Efia pointed that there is no need fasting and praying if people are going to return to their evil deeds that might have caused the pandemic in the world.
“Pray and return not back to your evil ways. No point of fasting and praying if you’re gonna go back to doing the same evil things. Repentance comes from the heart, not from the mouth”.
“Return not back to your gossiping, lying, stealing, corruptive money-hungry ways”, she added.
