Kenneth Copeland, and American televangelist ignited has stirred up massive debate with a comment about what Christians must do in the wake of the Codvid-19.
Despite the world tirelessly fighting the pandemic, Kenneth told his viewers not to stop paying tithes and sowing seeds even if they lose their jobs because of the virus.
According to Kenneth Copeland, people’s source of income is not their job, but Jesus.
“Fear of this coronavirus is faith in its ability to hurt you or kill you. The fear of What are we gonna do? I’m getting laid off at work!” Hey! Your job’s not your source. If it is, you’re in trouble. Jesus is your source! Whatever you do right now, don’t you stop tithing! Don’t you stop sowing offerings,” he said.
All of a sudden men of God have shown their true colours to their followers following the kind of attitudes they are exhibiting in this trying times.
Most of them seem to be interested in the monies their congregation will pay them and not thinking of the welfare of those people.
The Action Chapel recently developed a mobile money order where members can pay tithes and offertory through, Kumchacha has also insisted on organizing church service against the orders of the president all because of offertory.
