Driver Of The Vehicle That Killed Nigeria’s First Combat Helicopter Pilot, Tolulope Arotile, Arraigned Before Court

You would recall that we reported on Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile , who was accidentally killed by a former school friend who reversed into her while he was trying to greet her.

Latest report which has been gathered by our outfit indicates that the driver and owner of the vehicle that killed Tolulope Arotile have been arraigned before a Magistrate Court. Reports say David Adejo and Nehmiah Adejo pleaded not guilty after being arraigned before court on 4 count of causing death by driving without a license, dangerous driving, driving without authorisation of the owner and driving without due care and attention.

The court also added one count of negligent conduct while causing danger to person and property. The defendants have since been granted a bail of N1 million each by Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Benjamin after hearing arguments from their respective counsels. Reports gathered indicates that the defendants are expected to produce 2 sureties each who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.
