Birthed into a family of musicians, Ghanaian singer Gyakie is continuing a legacy of boldly African musicianship. She is the daughter of 80’s highlife music legend Ernest ‘Owoahene’ Nana Acheampong, but has come into her own as singer and songwriting, releasing her debut EP Seed last August.
Gyakie is currently celebrating after Nigeria’s sensational singer Wizkid followed her on Instagram. From the look of things, Gyakie happens to be one of the female singers from Ghana who most Nigerian artist will be willing to work with after she went all out to feature Omah Lay on the remix of her hit song ”Forever”.
Reports gathered by out outfit also indicates that Wizkid is curently receiving more attention that he used to after winning the Grammy award with Beyonce’s ”Brown Skin Girl” which he featured on.
The sensational singer took to the microblogging platform and tweeted saying;
