One of the constituencies in the Greater Accra Region whose election results will be very tough is the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
This is because actor John Dumelo is giving the incumbent MP a very tough competition hence making the whole race very competitive. Owing to John’s image as an actor prior to his political career a lot of Ghanaians are looking forward to results of the election in Ayawaso being declared as soon as possible to know who won.
The NPP recently had a rally in the Ayawaso West constituency where the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayorkor Botchway was heard shading Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo.
Speaking at the rally the hon. Minister said that Parliament is not a place for movie actors but serious business instead.
She further said that Parliament is not a place for people who think they can contest for a seat because of the large followers they have amassed with their acting career.
Madam Ayorkor went on to plead on residents to vote for the NPP party both in Presidential and Parliamentary.
