Kweku Baako Jnr is a Ghanaian journalist and the editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper. He is a frequent panelist on radio shows in Ghana, including Peace FM’s weekday morning show and Newsfile, a current affairs programme on Joy FM.
Kwaku Baako in speaking in an interview on Peace FM as monitored by Pinaxonline.com nothing will change in the election results even if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) decides to protest to for 10 years.
According to Kwaku Baako, the NDC can go on hunger strike, protest for 10 years and even do whatever they want but the only way they can get the verdict of the 2020 general elections is to use the appropriate medium.
This is what he can to say; ” Let them demonstrate for the next 10 years. They should go on hunger strike and even do anything they want. They only way they can get this verdict, that’s the Presidential one and now the Parliamentary one is to go to the appropriate medium.
He further added; Nobody is saying they cannot demonstrate. At times, some people ask, is that not a democratic right? It is. What we are saying is that if you seek to cure the mischief, the perceived mischief of an election dispute, there’s only one area. The rest you can shout, you can strip naked and run through the streets”.
