Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has warmed the hearts of many after paying for the surgery of a young female footballer.
The female footballer who plays for Real Upper Ladies suffered a career threatening injury on March 9, 2019 in a football game. According to viral reports, she fell and broke her clavicle/collar bone while playing for her club.
The young talented footballer was admitted at the Wa Regional hospital but transferred St. Therese’s hospital at Nandom. After the doctor assessed the injury, he said, the operation has to be done immediately because the broken bone is pointed at a vein.
However, Agyemang Badu who plies his trade in the Italian Seria A for Udinese upon hearing the news sent money to cater for the full cost of the operation.
An amount of money has been sent from Emmanuel Agyemang Badu (black stars player) via Sani Abacha (in Wa) to the player and her team for the operation today at 11am.
