EOCO freezes assets on council of state member.

The economic and organized crime office (EOCO) has frozen assets of council of state member Nii Kotei Dzani.

According to reports the asserts frozen include 41 bank accounts of ideal finance, landed properties and vehicles.

Reports have it that reasons behind the freezing of the asserts is to find a way to retrieve funds from Mr Dzani to pay back customers whose funds have been locked up with ideal finance. Meanwhile EOCO has been invited for questioning on three allegations ; paying GHC23 million to a client, allegedly stealing a 200 acre land from ideal finance and unlawfully using ideal finance funds to build camp tsaetse a resort in Ada.
