Amadhe also appealed to the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa  stressing that people and their assets have been trapped in the flood and it was now a dilemma.

“The Saturday flood took us by surprise; it destroyed a lot of things in the community. The only access road to the community has been cut off.

“We appeal to government at all levels to come to our aid; if urgent steps are not taken, over 40 vehicles may remain at the other side of the road till November 2020.”

Amadhe also added that the flood has also crippled business as the major access roads have been cut off and this has restricted the coming of traders from Ijaw, Isoko, Urhobo and Kwale areas.
