Football Stars React After Ghanaian International Was Sent Off In A Crucial Match – See Why

by - 1 min

Information reaching us at indicates that a Ghanaian footballer who plies his trade in the Belgian Jupiler Pro league was sent off the pitch during a crucial football game against KAS Eupen and guess what, he is in the person of Samuel Asamoah who plays for Sint Truiden.

Reports has it that the only offence the midfielder committed over the weekend was the crime of revealing his undershirt which had the inscription ‘Jesus Loves You’. Apparently, Samuel Asamoah who scored a hat-trick in his club’s win over KAS Eupen did not last the full 90 minutes.

The inscription on Asamoah’s shirt apparently got the referee angry and had no option than to show him the red card which led him exiting the pitch. So my question is, what crime did Samuel Asamoah commit..?

After the whole drama and sending off happened, Samuel Asamoah voiced out saying he thought his actions initially was not offensive but later on realized that it actually went against the Belgian Football regulations. However, He promised to bounce back and to score more goals.
