Former Chelsea Legend, Michael Ballack Reportedly Undergoes A Secret Operation To Remove A Tumor From His Back

Michael Ballack is a German retired professional footballer. He is among the top goal scorers in the history of the German national team. Ballack wore the number 13 shirt for every team he has played for, except from 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

Reports gathered from the football world indicates that Michael Ballack has undergone an operation to remove a tumor. It has been gathered that Michael Ballack had a growth discovered on his body during an MRI examination and had to immediately undergo surgery just to remove the tumor near his spinal cord.

Recent examinations has cleared Ballack of any fears that the growth was cancerous with the results showing that the tumor was actually benign. Ballack is said to be recovering and currently holidaying in Portugal where reports has it that he is watching his former club Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Michael Ballack spent 4 years at Bayern Munich before heading to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer in 2006. Ballack won 2 FA Cups and 1 EPL title with Chelsea. Ballack hung up his boots 8 years ago and guess what, he earned 98 caps for his country and also helped them to the final of the World Cup in 2002.
