John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012, and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.
Well, information gathered indicates that the ex-president has been given a new title during a visit to his homeland of Bole. He was given the title “Chief of Truth” and on breaking the news the ex-president took to his Instagram page and shared the pictures with caption;
My chief, Bole Wuraa Sarfo Kutuge Feso I, and his elders surprised me with a new title, Chief of Truth, during my visit to Bole on Wednesday. I thank them and the good people of the Bole Bamboi Constituency for their loyalty and support to the NDC and to me, since my entry into politics in 1996.
