Former President John Dramani Mahama and New Patriotic Party (NPP) affiliated Man of God, Reverend Owusu Bempah clashed at an Assemblies of God church.

Both Prez John Mahama and Reverend Owusu Bempah were invited by a Church to grace their 30th Anniversary at the Holy Ghost Revival Center of the Assemblies of God Church, South Odorkor, Accra.

Rev. Bempah after finishing with whatsoever he had been invited to do obeyed the order of the Host Pastor to exchange pleasantries with the guests who were present.

He walked to President Mahama and shook hands with him. During the process, it took the timely intervention of God to save a near ‘brouhaha’ from occurring between his entourage and that of the security officials of Mahama. Calm was however restored after 5 minutes.

Amongst the dignitaries present were National Organizer of the NPP, Sammi Awuku, Hon. Joe Appiah, Fmr MP for Ablekuma North, General Treasurer of the Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, Rev. Dr Sam Ato Bentil, Regional Superintendent of the A/G in Greater Accra, District Pastors.
