The former President of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings died on the 12th November 2020 after battling with the novel coronavirus.
He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was seeking medical attention but unfortunately met his sad demise.
In a press release monitored on social media the late Jerry John Rawlings’ State funeral rite will be held on 23rd December 2020 at the Independence square.
The family and the government are also working hand in hand to bring a final date for the funeral ceremony.
