Ghana Are You Ready? Covid-19 Vaccines To Arrive In Ghana Today

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister of Information designate, in a latest briefing has disclosed that the first batch of Covid-19 vaccines will arrive in the country in within some few hours. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made the statement during the Donor Presentation for the Sustainable Development of Yendi Municipal Hospital on February 2021.

Part of his statement reads; Though I have another engagement on our COVID-19 vaccines that are arriving early (Monday) morning.

The government of Ghana made a promise of vaccinating at least 20 million people against the deadly coronavirus in country.

The Food and Drugs authority has also given approval of the AstraZeneca and Sputnik V vaccines for official use in Ghana. Government officials are also expected to be publicly vaccinated to help educate Ghanaians on the importance of the vaccine
