Report currently gathered by our outfit indicates that Ghana has recorded over 190 new Coronavirus cases, surging the number to a total of 1,330.
According to the statistics, the total cumulative case as at January 8th, 2021 stands at 56,421 with 54, 753 recoveries. A check from the Ghana Health Service also indicates that the number of deaths remains at 338.
The report also indicates that the number of infected persons in severe condition is 42 whiles 4 are in critical condition.
As it stands now, 4 regions, North East, Oti, Ahafo and Savannah have no cases of Coronavirus. The Greater Accra Region, Ashanti, Western, Eastern and Central continue to lead the table with the infection rates.
