Governor Visits The Families Of Slain Jimoh Isiaq, Others- See Photos.

Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State has paid a condolence visit to the family of young Jimoh Isiaq that was killed during an #EndSARS protest in Ogbomoso area of the state.

Recall that we earlier published a story stating that a student of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH was killed while he was watching the protest in Ogbomoso and that he was buried the same day according to Islamic rites.

Reports have it that the governor also visited the families of two other children that were killed. It is alleged that the deceased families were given the sum of 1 milllion naira each.

Details of the visit was disclosed via the official Twitter handle of the governor on Tuesday night, October 13.

He tweeted;

“Today, we visited Ogbomoso to see the families of three of our children who died during the End SARS protests. We began the process of compensating the families for the losses they suffered and promised to do more in the coming days.

“Our hearts go out to all those who have suffered directly and indirectly during these protests. As a government, we will not forget the last few days in a hurry nor the needless deaths of Isiaka Jimoh, Ganiyu Moshood Alabi, and Adeoye Taiwo.”
