“Have The Courage To Be Disliked, Public Validation Does Not Put Money In Your Pocket” Toke Makinwa Says Few Hours After She Was Dragged (Screenshot)

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has sent an advice to stop thinking about what other people think or say about them.

Toke said that people need to have the courage to be disliked and that public validation doesn’t put money on the pocket.

This is coming barely 24 hours after she was dragged for saying she wants to join the ‘close legs association’ as against the ‘stingy men association of Nigeria’.

She took to Twitter on Wednesday, January 13 to give this advice. She also urged people to keep up at the line of business even if it doesn’t bring fame.

She tweeted;

“Have the courage to be disliked, public validation does not put money in your pocket. Your lane might not be popular but you are living your truth and that’s so much more than a lot of people in the crowd can boast of. Do YOU”
