Media personality, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi has caused a stir online after she lamented bitterly about vendors who find it hard to day ‘thank you’ to costumers that patronize them.
Gbemi said that basic courtesy demands that vendors say thank you whenever they are patronized, she also revealed that it’s a major turn off for her and many would be shocked at the many opportunities they have missed because of this.
She took to her Twitter page on Thursday, January 14 to express her feelings. She however, stated that she’s not going to force anyone to agree.
“Some Vendors sha . A customer has paid for your goods , how difficult is it to say “Thank you “ .
“Some will say “received” . Show some manners . And you don’t have to agree with me. We were raised by different people . 🤷🏾♀️
“Basic courtesy and manners matter to a lot of people . You’ll be shocked at the many opportunities missed because of this .
“Again , you don’t have to agree . Do you . No energy to argue in 2021. When people buy from you , don’t say “thank you “.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have reacted to these tweets, many have agreed with her but a few have disagreed.
