I Didn’t Say I Was Broke- John Dumelo Make U-Turn After Being Broke Comment!!

Actor turned politician John Dumelo who is contesting on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat has denied from saying that he said he was broke after he was reported to have made such declaration in an interview. It now clear that the actor is either suffering from amnesia or has clearly started telling lies, which is typical of our African politician especially Ghanaian politicians.

After report went round that the political aspirant said the NDC primaries has drained him financially and therefore needed financial support to carry out his campaign in the 2020 parliamentary elections, the actor has declared that he never made such a comment.

The message which went viral had John Dumelo saying these words; I’m broke rough, the campaign has drained my money rough. All the cash I had has been spent on the campaign I have absolutely nothing left on me for the next round of campaigning. I’ll have to look for money elsewhere for that exercise. As I speak with you I’m laying flat on the ground, I need help to get back onto my feet. There will have to be voluntary contributions from my loved ones to see me through the next level of campaigning for the 2020 parliamentary election,”

Defending himself on twitter he wrote, They said I said I’m broke. They will say I said they said i said I’m broke….ok. If that makes them happy.”

He went on to post Joy News post and captioned it; JOY you’ve made me sad.

However, John has thereafter deleted the tweet either to prevent public bashing or he knows Ghanaians are not going buy his claims of not saying what he was clearly heard saying.
