I stopped Acting because John Mahama lost the elections – Kumawood Actor Micheal Afrane

Kumawood Actor Micheal Afrane has disclosed why he has stopped Acting. Micheal Afrane is a Kumawood Actor why has been acting for decade now but he has been off the scene for some time now and his reasons are based on Politics.

He has played in several movies along side the likes of Agya Koo, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Bernard Adusi Poku and many more.

In an interview on One Ghana TV , He talked about his diversion to the political arena after quitting the acting of Movie.

According to him, The New Patriotic Party are deciving Ghanaians with false Project that only appears on paper but not reality. Speaking further, he stated that The vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is not being transparent in his duties.

He has changed his political party from being an Independent Candidate to joining the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and that he promises to use his fame to support them and also play an important role in his constituency.

Stating why he quit acting, he revealed that in 2016 ahead of the election, he stated that he will resign if President John Mahama loses the election, he claim his statement went viral after he publicly said.

Unfortunately, John Mahama lost the election which made him fulfill his promise of giving up his career.
