The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has stated emphatically that he will not legalize LGBTQ practice under his tenure of office. ”Same s3x marriage will never happen under my administration’’, he stated.
He made this declaration at the installation and enthronement of programme of an Anglican Archbishop held in Mampong today February 27.
The conversation on LGBTQI practice has gone viral on traditional and social media in Ghana for more than a week now and many Ghanaians have expressed dislike for its legalization.
It appears not only the citizens are against LGBTQ legalization but also the President hence making his stands known to the general public. After confidently stating that he won’t legalize it, he was applauded by all who were present at the event.
