In This Struggle For A Better Nigeria We Do Not Need Cowards – Yul Edochie Tells Nigerian Youth As He Rallies For Support For His Movement

Yul Edochie is a Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner. He is from Anambra State Nigeria, the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie. He was raised both in Lagos and Enugu. He is the last of 6 children. He got married at the age of 22.

Yul Edochie has taken to social media to urge the youth in Nigeria to join him in the struggle for a better Nigeria. He used the opportunity to recount how Yakubu Gowon became the Head of State at the age of 31 and how Odumegwu Ojukwu led the Biafra side during the civil war at the age of 33.

He further added that Nigeria does not need any coward in the struggle for a better tomorrow. Yul Edochie took to the microblogging platform and tweeted at the Nigerian youth saying;

”Gowon was 31 when he became Head of State. Ojukwu led the war at 33. Youths, wake up. Don’t sit at home & tell me it won’t work. It makes you a coward. And in this struggle for a better Nigeria we do not need cowards. Join us, support the movement & together we’ll make it work.”
