Nigerian footballer, Odion Ighalo has confirmed his departure from Manchester United after a year of playing for the team.
Ighalo who happens to be the first Nigeria to play for Manchester United senior team has penned down an emotional post describing his stay at the club and how he would always be a fan.
He also said that it’s hard for him to see this dream come to an end but he’s thankful to God for making him to be able to put on the jersey and represent the club.
It’s so hard to see this dream come to an end . But I give God the glory for helping me fulfill this life long dream of putting on a Manchester United shirt as a player and represent this great club , it was indeed an honor I will forever cherish and be grateful for .
