After the Electoral Commission’s declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 election, some NDC supporters in several parts of the country have protested against the EC’s verdict.
This is making fear to gradually grip some civilians making them to advise John Mahama to call his supporters to order.
Amidst calls from some great men and women in the country, John Mahama hasn’t called on his people to desists from the numerous protests the country has experienced for the past few days.
In an interview with a reporter at Voice of America, John Mahama says all that he seeks is justice and will do so without destroying the country’s peace.
”I’m not going to do anything that jeopardizes the peace of this country, I’m peace-loving, I’m not going to incite people to go and destroy things, I will not do that”.
Meanwhile John Mahama has reacted to news that his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has resigned from her position.
