Legendary Ghanaian Footballer Claims Marcus Rashford Is His Biological Son, Goes Ahead To Reveal His Ghanaian Name

Marcus Rashford is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A former Ghanaian player based in the United Kingdom known as Michael Boye Marquaye, has finally come out to claim that he is the biological father to Marcus Rashford.

The Manchester United skipper is known to be of Jamaican descent who was born to Joseph Rashford as his father and Melanie Rashford as his mother. This latest revelation coming from Michael Boye Quaye actually proves otherwise. The 65-year-old in an interview on Starr Sports disclosed that he is the biological father to Marcus Rashford and according to him he is not surprised his son grew up to become a footballer because Marcus carries his genes.

Marquaye futher stated that Marcus is aware of his existence although they haven’t seen each other for several years. He also disclosed that Marcus Rashford was angry because he thinks he was abandoned which was not the case.

Marquaye claims he is not looking for an easy way to get money or become famous but only wanted to make things clear and also get to let Marcus know that he has Ghanaian roots. Reports has it that Marcus Rashford’s Ghanaian name is “Jonathan Maama Marquaye”.
