Ghanaian Actress Lydia Forson has reacted to the comment of the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey saying that Parliament is not for actors which she claims it expose how politicians feel about them.
Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey while campaigning for the New Patriotic Party Candidate, Lydia Alhassan on Friday the 27th of November 2020 threw several shades at Ghanaian Actor John Dumelo saying Parliament is a very serious Place and not for Actors.
Her comment didnt sit well with a lot of actors and Lydia Forson reacting to this during an interview on JoyNews with Doreen Avio, she claim she likes it when politicians talk like that because it exposes how they feel about them.
“They respect the power we have, they respect the influence, they respect how much they are able to use us for. So what happens is every four years they will use us to get votes but they dont give us a seat at the table because they dont respect us”
“They will come and call me Lydia Forson maybe to go and talk about social media because they think that is all you are worth but not to talk about policies or education. They dont respect you” she said
