Nigerian columnist shares how she attempted suicide recently.

In celebration of that World Suicide Day, several people have come out to share their experiences and how they attempted suicide at some point in their lives.

Nigerian columnist, philanthropist and founder of Genevieve Magazine had take to social media to narrate how she almost committed suicide recently. She disclosed this on Friday September 11.

According to her, she tried to commit suicide last week Sunday.

Recall that we earlier reported that the 63-year-old Irabor shared how she battled with depression for 8 years and also how people mistreated her. Well Irabor has also disclosed how she almost took her own life and that she would have been successful if not for her husband who stopped her.

“People are sharing their suicide stories for world suicide prevention day… Heres mine.. it was a sunday. I was determined to END it as per d voice in my head. I wanted hubby @soniirabor4real out of the way. “Go to church na”, I urged him.” She tweeted.

Irabor however, deleted the tweets almost immediately.
