Nigerian Singer Rema Sends Apology Letter To A Friend He Stole A Laptop From Back In 2017 – See Why

Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. In 2019, he signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

Rema has finally regretted his actions regarding a laptop he stole from a colleague back in 2017. Rema disclosed the identity of his colleague as Eric and disclosed that he did what he did because his mum was pregnant at the time and was also subjected to mockery. He didn’t want to pester her with his problems since he was the man of the house and also wanted to prove those mocking his family wrong.

Rema in apologizing to his friend took to Twitter and rendered his unqualified apology with caption;

”Eric, Sorry I stole your Laptop in 2017, I know you were trying to help me. My Mom had a child on the way, I was the only man in my family. They made fun of her because she got pregnant, I wanted to prove them wrong bro, I had to do it.”
