Nollywood actress, Isaac Nsikan has taken to social media to narrate how she lost her father and brother to police brutality in Nigeria.
Nsikan disclosed via her Instagram page on Wednesday, October 14 that she has felt pain for many years but she’s thankful that revolution has begun.
According to the Akwa-Ibom-born actress, she lost her father when a strya bullet fired by the police hit him 22 years ago. She added that her brother was killed by the police just in front of their house 20 years ago.
“I HAVE PERSONALLY FELT THE PAIN!
IT HAS BEEN THERE FOR MANY MANY YEARS.
IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE, I HAVE HAD MY SILENT CRIES AND I HAVE PICKED MYSELF BACK UP… IT TOOK A WHILE BUT THANK GOD THE REVOLUTION HAS BEGAN!”
