The violence initiated by thugs during protests seems to be increasing by the day. In different cities of Nigeria some protests have been disrupted by unknown thugs who vandalize and even attack protesters.
Things went haywire in Osogbo, Osun State on Saturday evening, October 17 when thugs ‘infiltrated’ the #EndSARS protest. The infiltration is coming after two protesters were killed by the envoy of the Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
Reports have it Osogbo City Mall was broken into, goods worth millions were carted away. It is alleged that buildings owned by Access Bank, Wema Bank including a post office were set on fire.
