In wake of a partial laockdown in Ghana ordered by Nana Akufo-Addo, the leader of Power of Worship International has set his church aside as a home for the homeless. The church is located on the Spintex road in Accra.
The lockdown is scheduled to take place on the midnight of Monday 30th March 2020 and is said to affect 4 major towns in Ghana namely; Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Obuasi.
This a step that has been taken by government to help curb the spread of the virus in the country.
Pastor Amoateng after receiving heavy backlash from Ghanaians for making an insensitive comment on the church not owing any member food and santizers and so all should go to the government for the supply of the aforementioned have decided to right his wrong by offering his church as a home for the homeless as well as provide food for such people.
His comment didn’t go down well with many Ghanaians who jabbed him for it.
Well he apologized after some minutes of making the comment but have decided to intensify his efforts of letting Ghanaians know that he is indeed sorry.
