You would recall that we reported on 6 students from the Accra Girls High School testing positive for COVID-19. Citi News sources at the school disclosed that some students were showing symptoms of the virus and were isolated in the school’s sickbay.
The school authorities then called health officials to deal with the issue at hand. Reports has it that tests were run on 11 students but it came out that 6 of them tested positive and were on Saturday, July 4 sent to the hospital for further treatment.
Parents after hearing the breaking news with regards to the coronavirus situation in the school stormed the school all in the name of taking their wards back home. The parents were agitated and made serious demands from the school to release their wards to them but the police took control of the situation as they barricaded the entrance of the school.
Today’s report indicated that 7 out of 55 student who tested positive for the Novel Virus after a second test was done have returned back to school. Below are pictures of them.
