Photos: Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman Finally Honored With An Awesome Wakanda Artwork In Disneyland

by - 2 mins

The late Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman, has finally been honored by Disney with a monumental mural in Disneyland’s Downtown District. Apparently, the beautiful mural was recently unveiled and has since become one of the most awesome attractions at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.

Chadwick passed away barely a month ago whilst fighting a secret battle with cancer but guess what, his fans and followers are doing whatever they can to make sure his memory lives on.

The beautiful tribute was created by concept artist Nikkolas Smith and guess what, the tribute shows Chadwick exchanging the Wakanda salute with a young fan. Nikkolas Smith shared the beautiful art with caption;

”This one is special. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney. 🐾 It is a full circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children’s Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T’Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I’m so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick’s life and purpose in this way.
I am grateful to the Disney family for being so supportive of my journey as an artist. @waltdisneyimagineering @disney @marvelstudios @disneyland
