The Vice President Of The Republic of Ghana Mohamudu Bawumia has finally met the spelling bee champions from the northern part of Ghana. He made this revelation in a post on facebook whereby he invited the winners for a meet and greet at the Jubilee House.

From all indications, Bauwima seemed happy as the champions were from the Northern part of Ghana and as a matter of fact the first time in history this is actually happeneing.

He took to his facebook page and made this revelation with caption;

This afternoon, I welcomed the 2020 Spelling Bee champion, Ms. Nadia Chelpang Mashoud and other members of the Spelling Bee team from Alhassan Gbanzaba Memorial School in Tamale to the Jubilee House.

This is the first time in the history of the competition that the winner has come from the northern part of Ghana. I therefore congratulated the team, the teachers and management of the school led by Mrs Jane Alhassan and Mariama Alhassan for their historic achievement. I encourage schools in all regions to participate in these competitions so that we may uncover more hidden gems. I underscored the significance of education to the development of the Ghanaian youth and urged them to continue shining in their fields of endeavour.

I also wished Nadia Mashoud well as she prepares to represent Ghana at Scripps National Spelling Bee in the USA.

The future of Ghana is bright.
