Report gathered from the world of football indicates that a young fan of Italian giants AS Roma has woken up from coma after the club’s legend Francesco Totti sent her a video message. The young fan has been identified as Ilenia Matilli.
Apparently, Matilli has been in coma for the past 9 months after she had an accident which killed her friend Martina and left her in such state. Matilli suffered a serious head injury and could barely do anything since she was admitted in a hospital in Italy’s capital.
In the efforts of Matilli’s parents to help her recover, they used to play the anthem of AS Roma at her bedside but that alone was unable to help her. Reports has it that Ilenia Matilli woke up from her come when she heard the voice of Francesco Totti in a video which was played right beside her.

Totti who is currently 44-years-old sent an inspirational message to the 19-year-old saying; “Ilenia don’t give up, you’ll do it, we’re all with you” and guess what, Ilenia woke up from her coma. Parents of Ilenia after receiving the good news sent their appreciation to the legendary footballer who then agreed to pay Ilenia a visit at the hospital.
“Hold on and don’t give up,” AS Roma great Francesco Totti said in a message to Ilenia Matilli when she was in a coma. And she did.
