Omoyele Sowore, popular pro-democracy campaigner has disclosed that police officers fired live bullets at him and some other protesters on Thursday, November 6 while they were at the National Assembly premises in Abuja.
According to Sowore, five protesters were injured and were then arrested by the police officers. He disclosed this via his Twitter account this morning.
He tweeted;
“#EndSARS @PoliceNG brutally attacked us at the @nassnigeria this morning during an early morning action. Five protesters injured and then arrested!”
Meanwhile, other activists have also corroborated the story and shared videos of the incident.
