Policemen attached to the Ebrumede Division, Warri in Delta State has reportedly caused the death of a woman and her infant daughter on Wednesday afternoon, January 20.
It was gathered that the policemen were trying to catch Yahoo boys who were in a Camry car before their Hilux can hit a tricycle a.k.a Keke Napep at PTI Junction of Warri.
Reports have it that the policemen fled immediately they saw the havoc they have done, an angry mob also set the Police van ablaze. Photos and videos which captures the severed bodies of the deceased are currently making rounds online.
A video has also captured the policemen fleeing the scene while motorists pursue them. As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Police is yet to issue a statement concerning the incident.
