Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer, and director. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award.

The sensational actress has taken to the microblogging platform to openly correct popular international news outlet, Cables News Network popularly known as CNN over an article the published on Twitter regarding the massacre which took place in Lekki Toll Gate, Nigeria, on October 20, 2020.

This is what CNN took to it official twitter page to tweet;
”Clashes between protesters and law enforcement agents in Lagos turned bloody on Tuesday, despite a state-wide curfew, with eyewitnesses telling CNN that multiple demonstrators have been shot by soldiers ”

Unhappy and angry Genevieve after seeing the post urged them with correct their statement with what actually went on at Lekki Toll Booth. This is what she had to say;

”Correct this immediately. It was an ambush! A massacre! A bloody genocide! #EndSARS”
