Screenshot: Donald Trump Refuses To Promise Peaceful Transfer Of Power Should He Lose November Presidential Elections

Reports currently gathered from the United States indicates that Donald Trump on September 23, 2020, refused to guarantee that he will transfer power should he loose in the upcoming November elections. Donald Trump was asked at a White House press conference on whether he is indeed committed to handing over peacefully should he loose the election and this is what he had to say;

“Well. we’re going to have to see what happens”.

The statement he made has raised some serious concerns from his very own party and Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden.

This is what Joe Bien had to say after Donald Trump’s comment;

“What Country are we in? Look, he says the most irrational things. I don’t know what to say”.

Senator Mitt Romney who also goes on the ticket of the Republicans reacted to Donald Trump’s statement stating that any hesitation which disregards the constitution was “unthinkable and unacceptable”.

This is what he also had to say; “

”Fundamental to democracy is the peaceful transition of power; without that, there is Belarus. Any suggestion that a president might not respect this Constitutional guarantee is both unthinkable and unacceptable.”
