Sarkcess Music Boss, Sarkodie has reacted to NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi over his cartoon post on social media regarding the Electoral commission and Akufo-ddo.
Sammy Gyamfi took to social media in the early hours of today and shared an image trolling the NPP over the pressure on Electoral Commission to create a new voters register. His tweet has apparently been trending on most social media platforms with some social media commentators asking him to pull his post down.
The cartoon or meme was actually a recreation of the scene from George Floyd, the African-American who was gruesomely murdered as a result of having a police officers knee on his neck choking him to death. But in this particular post, you would see the current EC Boss, Madam Jean Mensah kneeling on Ghanaians voters.
Sammy Gyamfi’s post on social media actually generated a lot of backlash from social media commentators but he went on to further explain his motive stating that it is never a mockery of the gruesome murder of George Floyd.
Reacting to his post, Sarkodie called on Sammy Gyamfi to take down the post stating that he knows his intentions aren’t to joke about these sensitive issues but he will be glad if he still take it down. Checkout Sammy Gyamfi’s post and Sarkodie’s reaction below;
