Screenshots: Nigerian Actress Genevieve Nnaji Pens Down A Touching & Emotional Letter To President Buhari Amidst The Ongoing #EndSarsProtest

Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer, and director. She won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award.

The sensational actress has taken to her various social media pages to show her massive support towards the ongoing #EndSarsProtest in Nigeria. She has gone as far as writing an open letter to their President, Muhammadu Buhari.

In the open letter written to the president, Genevieve Nnaji tasked the president to actually listen to the cry of the people and take the necessary actions. She went as far as revealing how her niece was was harassed by men of the SARS for having a laptop. She also disclosed that complaints were made following the harassment but nothing was done regarding that.

She affirmed the fact that Nigerians are not criminals and shouldn’t be treated as such in their own country. According to Genevieve, poverty is one of the contributive factors as to why there is a huge rise in the number of crime cases.

Genevieve Nnaji took to her Instagram page and shared the open letter she wrote to Buhari with caption;
