Drake’s customized ring features 30 carats of diamonds and is valued at more than $150,000. Jason tells TMZ Sports, “Drake had me fly to Turks and Caicos for an emergency design meeting.” the celebrity jeweler explains the meaning of the ring for Drake, “It’s a championship that’s dear to his heart and he wanted to create an over the top ring that not only paid homage to his city but made a statement above and beyond anything else in history.”
Meanwhile, Drake got one of the official rings the Raptors received during their opening night ceremony on Tuesday and another one which he ordered from celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills.
The official ring features 650 diamonds and 16 rubies that represent the number of playoff victories required to win the title. It also features the Toronto Skyline, the Scotiabank Arena and the word “North” spelled out in diamonds inside of the team’s chevron logo. Drake had his customized with “The Boy” and a maple leaf rather than a jersey number.
