Shatta Wale is set to feature prominently in the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), the dancehall star has hinted.
The controversial dancehall musician is not one known to be on good terms with Charter House Ghana, organisers of the VGMAs.
Shatta Wale has been in a number of public feuds with Charter House including recording a diss song and insulting the company’s leaders.
These feuds have virtually ensured that Shatta Wale has played little or no part of in activities of concerning the VGMAs in the last six years that he has arguably been the topmost artiste in Ghana.
But according to Shatta Wale, he is going to be part of the 2019 edition of the VGMAs which happens to also mark the 20th anniversary of the awards. Shatta Wale’s statement follows a meeting he recently had with Theresa Ayoade, the CEO of Charter House Ghana, organisers of the VGMAs.
Sharing a photo with Mrs Ayoade on social media after their meeting, Shatta Wale wrote: “Big things about to happen Thank you, madam, Theresa C.E.O of Charter House Ghana !! VGMA 20 years celebration and I am happy to be part of it.”
